Winter

The Portes du Soleil ski region can be accessed easily from Morzine via the Super-Morzine telecabin through Avoriaz. With over 650km of piste to explore, there is something for skiers and snowboarders of all standards, inclding gentle green and blue runs for beginners, red and black runs for the more adventurous, and 6 snow parks for the daring.

In France, links between Morzine and Abondance, Avoriaz, la Chapelle d’Abondance, Châtel, Les Gets, Montriond, and St Jean d’Aulps; and in Switzerland, Champéry, Morgins, Torgon, and the villages of Val d’Illiez, Les Crosets, and Champoussin.

Summer

Morzine and Les Gets in the summer offers the perfect opportunity to recharge your batteries in an idyllic setting right in the heart of the mountains.

The area offers a wide range of activities, with something for everyone. For the adventurous there are options including Paragliding, Mountain Biking, Mountaineering, Climbing, Canyoning, Ice Skating and Paintball to name a few.

If you prefer a more relaxed holiday, you could sunbathe by Lac with which offers outdoor swimming and waterside for the kids, try a little Golf, take a Segway tour, play some Tennis, or do some Fishing.

For kids both big and small there is the large Swimming Pool complex with kids play area and waterslide, the summer Sledge Run, and Disc Golf.

Chairlifts also remain open to allow access to the mountain terrain for mountain bikers, walkers, and those who like to take in the beautiful view.

The huge variety of restaurants and bars in Morzine and Les Gets continue their service during the summer, meaning you can enjoy a relaxing drink or meal in the sunshine.

There is also much to explore in the surrounding area. Lake Geneva is just 30 minutes drive away. Annecy is a quaint mountain village with a beautiful lake and excellent restaurants. You can also visit the Cheese seller in Morzine and find out how Savoyard cheeses are made.
